During your Reiki session I formulate intuitively channeled homework that is specific to your intentions and current needs.

The homework is to serve as further guidance for you to follow at home to maximize the shifts created during your Reiki appointment.

Homework can range from yoga asanas, meditations/visualizations, affirmations and more.

The idea is to empower you to become your own healer so you may feel confident in using the tools around you to approach any given situation with grace and ease.

The short answer is yes, it can be and usually is.

Reiki has the ability to cultivate a "detox affect" that is felt in the physical body.

This detox sensation can sometimes be experienced due to the reiki session digging deep, excavating stagnant or trapped energy. 

Reiki encourages healing and vibrational elevation on all layers of existence - energetic, spiritual, emotional, mental and physical. Which also tends to look like an internal "spring cleaning," out with the old to create space for the new.

Reiki sessions help you recognize whats ready to let go and released but also whats ready to be amplified and embraced.

Some sessions will feel more intense than others depending on the intention or direction of the session.

Reiki detox symptoms may include:

• Headache
• Shakiness
• Need for rest
• Upheaval of emotions

*** It is HIGHLY ENCOURAGED you focus on hydrating your body after any energy session AND hold gentle kindness toward yourself.

The week following your Reiki appointment can be met with old emotions, memories and sensations that have been trapped in the body.

As we energetically excavate, organize and replenish during your session - internal movement is to be expected during and after.

If you feel uneasy or confused on what direction to take when you go home, you may send a text, email or call my phone!

Oftentimes the homework you receive is poking at sensitive internal subjects and the reiki itself sifts up many sensations that have long been tucked away. So may you be reminded that you are NEVER alone in this healing or embodiment process. If you need assistance, you are always encouraged to reach out.

As much as I love to see your GORGEOUS soul, please give yourself at least 2 weeks to practice & integrate your homework.

Those 2 weeks also serve as time for the internal shifts to organize and settle (:

*** You may notice you are not called back to Reiki for another month, 6 months or year and thats okay! Meet yourself where you are at and in the mean time take responsibility for your precious self and remain consistent with your self care.
